I started this weblog to chronicle my thoughts, feelings and experiences with my first son Caden. Now I get to add our newest addition to the loop! :) It's a way to express my thoughts, struggles, and joys...a way to keep my family and friends in the loop...but in the bigger picture, it’s a letter into the future, a letter to my boys. I want them always to know how much I love them. I want them to know that their presence in my life is the very reason I was born.

One Potato, Two Potato, Three Potato, FOUR! :)
Ok, another Works for me Wednesday tip coming from me!! :)
For a super fast Baked Potato that tastes WONDERFUL, just take the poor potato, poke holes throughout it's little potato head and seal in a Ziploc bag. Put in the microwave for 3 -4 min depending on your micro and WHALA!!! (is that how you spell that?) Instant Baked Potato!!! Beats waiting for that darn hot oven, or dealing with boiling water!!

i never have the time to bake potatoes so i'll have to give this one a try. i'll be using potatoes out of my parents garden so i'll not nuke them for so long.
I've been wondering if it was possible to microwave a potato. Thanks!
It's spelled "voila!" :) It's French for "there it is!"
I nuke mine by wrapping them in paper towels and running them under the faucet before nuking them. I'll have to try the baggie method, sounds a mite easier.
yummy.
Easy and yummy
Thanks for sharing.

Never tried the baggy method before, but have nuked potatoes for years. When you live faaaarrrr South you don't want that kitchen heating up any more than you have to even with AC!!! Sure am glad for ND weather!!
Love ya!
Beth
My baggy melted when I tried this. I just poke holes in it, place it on a saucer with a little water and micro it. Then I don't have to fool with the baggy and possibly burning my fingers.
